I sit in a hospital room with my newborn brother cuddled in my arms. His body moves up and down with each slow calm breath. My mother lay in bed sleeping, weary from recent childbirth. My mom is forty.
My brother in my arms, wrapped in a blue bunny blanket: it used to be mine. I’ve had the blanket since I was a baby. I’ve kept it all these years hoping one day I could pass it on. You contacted me on myspace about customised profiles...
I use divs. Theyre literaly boxes you can put things in and arrange on a page, usually ontop of a background image.
the html is literaly <div>CONTENT</div>
CONTENT is for example, a hyperlinked picture, or text.
Like, i would make a huge div [div1] and put the background image in it. Then make smaller divs, and put them ontop of div1 [ making the fill transparent on the CSS sheet] and putting in whatever content i want.
I use the CSS sheet to define the parameters for the divs. and i modified so i can use it time and time again, as it only affects how the divs [ see below] appear, and their sizes and positions on the page.
Hope that helps... perhaps searching for divs on google may explain it better.
